AirTouch ERROR CODE FFFF

AirTouch FFFF Error Code Troubleshooting

An FFFF code on your AirTouch console could point to a breakdown in communication or power between the AirTouch gateway and your ducted air conditioning unit. In plain terms, the AirTouch console can no longer “talk” to the AC unit, which is often because the unit isn’t receiving power at all.

This is one of the more common AirTouch alerts homeowners come across, and in many cases it’s caused by something simple at the switchboard or outdoor unit rather than a fault with the AirTouch system itself. It can also stem from a wiring issue between the AirTouch gateway and the AC unit, or a gateway that hasn’t been configured correctly during installation.

Common Reasons You May See An FFFF Error

  • The air conditioning unit isn't powered on
  • The isolator switch near the outdoor unit has been switched off
  • The circuit breaker for the AC unit has tripped at the switchboard
  • A wiring fault between the AirTouch system and the AC unit
  • Incorrect gateway configuration
