Like FFFF, an FFFC code could signal a communication or power problem between your AirTouch system and the connected ducted air conditioning unit. The AirTouch console isn’t receiving the signal it expects back from the AC unit, so it flags the link as broken.
The underlying causes for FFFC line up closely with FFFF, which is why the two are often treated as a pair. It generally comes down to the AC unit being without power, a switch or breaker being off, a wiring fault, or a gateway that isn’t set up correctly.
