AirTouch APP CONNECTIVITY

AirTouch App Connectivity Issues: Troubleshooting

If the AirTouch app won’t connect to your console, or refuses to pair with your system in the first place (sometimes shown as Error 2002), the cause is often a connectivity or setup issue rather than a fault with your ducted AC. Error 2002 specifically points to outdated firmware on the console or an outdated version of the app itself.

Beyond that, pairing and connection failures are commonly related to network settings. Your phone may not be on the same home Wi-Fi network as the AirTouch console, the “Internet Access” setting may be switched off (which is needed for mobile data or away-from-home use), the Device ID may be missing or incorrect when pairing remotely, or your home router’s firewall may be blocking AirTouch’s communication.

Common Reasons You May See An App Connectivity Issues Error

  • Outdated AirTouch console firmware or app version (Error 2002)
  • Your phone isn't connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the AirTouch console
  • The "Internet Access" setting is turned off
  • A wrong or unset Device ID when pairing over mobile data
  • A home router firewall blocking AirTouch communication
