An H14 code relates to the sensor inside your indoor unit that measures the temperature of the air in the room. Your air conditioner relies on this reading to work out how hard to run, so when the sensor stops reporting correctly, the system flags the fault rather than guessing.
This can happen because the sensor has come loose from its connector, because dirt or corrosion is interfering with the contact, or because the sensor itself has failed and is sending a reading outside its normal range.
Send us the code and a photo of the display, and a Ford & Doonan technician will get back to you. Please don't reset the unit before you take the photo.
