Find out what your air conditioning error code means and what to do next. Our guides cover Daikin, Panasonic, Samsung and AirTouch systems.
Panasonic split system and ducted air conditioners are built with self-diagnostic software that flags a fault as a short alphanumeric code, visible on the indoor unit alongside a blinking timer or operation light. To read the code yourself, press the CHECK button on the remote control and use the Timer â–²/â–¼ buttons to display it.
Below you’ll find plain-English explanations of the most common Panasonic error codes and what typically causes them. For the diagnosis and repair itself, it’s best left to a licensed technician rather than attempted at home.
