An H19 code could mean the indoor fan motor mechanism has locked up rather than running freely. This is the motor that drives the blower responsible for pushing conditioned air out into your room, so the system stops operation when it senses the fan isn’t turning as expected.
The lock-up can be caused by something physically obstructing the fan, or by a fault in the motor or the indoor control board that governs its speed. Either way, the mismatch between the commanded and actual fan speed is what trips the protection.
Send us the code and a photo of the display, and a Ford & Doonan technician will get back to you. Please don't reset the unit before you take the photo.
