Daikin ERROR CODE F6

Daikin F6 Error Code Troubleshooting

An F6 error code relates to high pressure being detected on the outdoor, condenser side of the system while it’s running in cooling mode. This is often tied to how well air is moving across the outdoor unit.

Restricted airflow around the outdoor coil is the most frequent cause, though refrigerant levels and sensor faults can also play a part.

Common Reasons You May See An F6 Error Code

  • A blocked or dirty outdoor coil
  • The outdoor unit being enclosed or starved of airflow
  • Refrigerant overcharge
  • A disconnected or faulty pressure/temperature thermistor
