The E6 error code can appear when the inverter has tried to start the compressor several times without success. Without the compressor running, the system can’t cool or heat, so this code effectively halts operation until the cause is found.
This fault is often linked to a genuine issue with the compressor or inverter, but on newly installed systems it’s frequently traced back to something much simpler: a service valve that was left closed.
