Ford & Doonan Proudly Supporting the Telethon Home Again in 2026

Ford & Doonan are extremely proud to once again be appointed as the air conditioning contractor for the 2026 Telethon Home, built by our friends at Blueprint Homes. This year’s build is already shaping up to be one of the most exciting in Telethon history, with early momentum, big expectations, and a design unlike any Telethon Home seen before.

Each year, the Telethon Home stands as a powerful reminder of generosity, kindness, and community spirit across Western Australia. More than a construction project, it represents what can be achieved when WA businesses, trades, and everyday people rally together for a shared purpose. Every hour donated reflects the commitment to helping children and families in need.

A 40‑Year Commitment to WA Communities

For over four decades, Ford & Doonan has been trusted to keep Western Australians comfortable in their homes and workplaces. Starting right here in Perth, we’ve grown into WA’s most awarded air conditioning company, proudly specialising in residential and light commercial split systems and ducted systems throughout Perth, the Peel region, and the Southwest.

From our humble beginnings to a network of 12 stores across the state, our journey has been defined by quality, reliability, and community-minded values. Supporting Telethon is a natural extension of who we are, and our team is humbled to once again contribute to one of WA’s most iconic charitable initiatives.

Why We Continue to Support Telethon

Our involvement in the Telethon Home is about far more than supplying air conditioning. It’s about standing behind a cause that truly matters. Telethon funds essential children’s hospitals, groundbreaking medical research, and vital health services, support that has a direct and lasting impact on families across Western Australia.

As a proudly WA‑owned and operated business, we understand the importance of looking after the youngest and most vulnerable members of our community. That’s why 2026 marks the fifth year in a row that Ford & Doonan has provided the air conditioning system for the Telethon Home, a tradition we’re honoured to continue.

Our Role in Another Record‑Setting Year

As with previous Telethon Homes, Ford & Doonan will be supplying and installing a high‑efficiency air conditioning system designed for reliability, comfort, and year‑round energy performance. Our commitment is to continue supporting Telethon’s mission and delivering climate control systems that help turn a house into a home.

Working alongside Blueprint Homes once again ensures seamless coordination, quality workmanship, and a focus on thoughtful design, all key ingredients in delivering a home worthy of its purpose.

Part of Ford & Doonan’s mission for West Aussies is to achieve complete comfort and convenience. So, the new home will be equipped with the AirTouch 5 smart air conditioning controller. This advanced control system allows for:

  • Reverse cycle functionality, bringing heating and cooling to the home from one system.
  • Zoned airflow control for greater efficiency
  • Customisable scheduling with smart timers
  • Control the air conditioner remotely via a mobile app for iOS/Android

With these features, the new homeowners will be able to manage their comfort from anywhere, while also enjoying the benefits of a more energy-efficient lifestyle.

A Unique Design for the Modern WA Family

This year’s home is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom custom design, created specifically for the block. The home is being built on a generous 596sqm block in Upper Swan, overlooking Ellen Brook. This location forms part of the growing Clementine Estate, which also hosted the hugely successful 2024 Telethon Home, that sold for an incredible $1.175 million. Expectations for the 2026 build are already high, with both Blueprint Homes and Satterley predicting record‑breaking interest and a strong final sale result.

Why the Telethon Home Matters

While the home itself may be a triumph of architecture and construction, its true purpose remains unchanged. 100% of the proceeds from the sale will be donated directly to Telethon, contributing to medical research, equipment, and vital programs supporting WA children and their families.

The sale of the Telethon Home isn’t just a real estate transaction; it’s a powerful fundraiser. Whether it’s a newborn requiring neonatal care or a teenager battling a chronic condition, Telethon ensures that help is available when it’s needed most. That’s why every dollar raised through the home sale goes a long way.

Across 58 years, Telethon Homes have generated more than $31 million for the charity. Funding that has life-changing impacts for families like the Blairs. As Little Telethon Star, Jordan Blair’s mum, Taryn Blair, shared, “Without all that funding, Jordan wouldn’t have access to the key therapy he needs to reach his full potential.”
