How Does Ducted Air Conditioning Work?
A ducted air conditioner uses one central indoor unit, usually installed in the roof space, connected to an outdoor unit and a network of ducts. Conditioned air is pushed through the ducted air system and delivered into rooms through ceiling vents or wall registers.
With reverse cycle technology, the same system can provide cooling in summer and heating in winter, while modern inverter technology helps adjust output as needed for more efficient operation. Zoning also lets you choose how many areas run at once, so you can send airflow to the rooms you are using and avoid conditioning empty spaces.
Perfect airflow can also be achieved through modern systems, like the AirTouch suite, allowing for adjustments in 5% increments.
