Safely position a step ladder so you can easily reach your wall split air conditioner. Lift up the front panel by undoing the clips on both the left and right-hand side. This will reveal the filter. Depending on the model of your air conditioner, you may also need to remove a filter protector from the front.
Step 3: Remove and Clean the Filter
Carefully remove the filter from inside the air conditioner without damaging any other components. It should come out with little effort.
